Melted Crayons Pumpkins

Looking for a different kind of craft

Crayon melted craft is not restricted just to a canvas. Just attach crayons to these pumpkins and heat with a hairdryer and you're making melted crayon art!

So What do you need to make these unique pumpkins
Items you will need are:
■ A Pumpkin (preferably a white one)
■ Tape or hot glue
■ Crayons - Crayola Crayons have the most pigment so will give you the most vibrant designs
■ A hair dryer
■ Lots of newspaper as this can be quite messy



Next make sure you lay out lots of newspaper as it can be quite messy.

Choose the colour crayons you want - make sure you remove the labels first. Due to the shape of the pumpkin it is probably best to break them in half.

Now glue or tape the crayons to the top of the pumpkin.

Now comes the messy part. With your hair-dry blow the crayons away from the centre of the pumpkin and watch the crayons melt to create a unique design.

Let your artwork dry then place them out for display.
